About the White Acrylic 3015
White 3015 is a solid, opaque white cast acrylic sheet. Unlike our translucent sign whites, it's made to block light, giving you a clean, bright white face that looks the same in any lighting. Key Characteristics & Specifications • Type: Cast acrylic (PMMA). Cast sheet cuts with smooth, polished edges and holds fine detail well. • Color / Appearance: Bright, solid white. 3015 is the most opaque white in the standard sign-white range, so screws, adhesives and mounting hardware behind it don't show through. • Light Transmission: Opaque. It's meant for faces that are lit from the front, not backlit. • Surface Finish: Glossy on both sides. • Durability: Lightweight, rigid and shatter-resistant, with UV stability for indoor and outdoor signs. Choosing the Right White • White 2447: The most light through, for the brightest backlit glow. • White 7328: Medium light through, the classic choice for lightboxes. • White 3015: No glow by design. Pick it when the white itself is the finish. Common Applications • Plaques & Award Bases: A crisp white surface for printed text and logos. • Cut Letters & Wall Graphics: Router- or laser-cut shapes mounted with adhesive or standoffs, with no hardware showing through. • Non-Illuminated Signs: Office signs, wayfinding and door signs where you want even, solid color. • Displays & Retail Fixtures: Shelf risers, panels and backdrops that need a clean white look.
