Pick the material & layer

Start with what the jacket has to do. A mid-layer fleece like the Harriton M990 Full-Zip Fleece is warm, soft, and the easiest surface to decorate. If you want water resistance with a structured feel, a bonded soft shell such as the Team 365 Leader Soft Shell blocks wind and light rain. For packable, throw-in-a-bag warmth, look at puffer jackets; for pure wind and drizzle protection, a lightweight windbreaker or a fully waterproof rain jacket is the move. Heavier and glossier shells are still decoratable, but the fabric drives the method.

Pick the style & who's wearing it
