Pick the garment for the job

Match the fabric to how the shirt gets worn. For a corporate, customer-facing look, an easy-care twill like the Harriton M500 or a refined broadcloth woven from Devon & Jones presses crisp and holds up to daily laundering. For polished front-desk and management staff, a true oxford dress shirt such as the Red Kap SR70 reads sharp all day. On the shop floor, reach for rugged industrial builds like the short-sleeve Red Kap SP24, the long-sleeve Red Kap SP14, or the everyday Dickies 2574 — stain-release finishes and tougher weaves stand up to grease and wear. For jobs near traffic or heavy equipment, safety hi-vis is the category to start in.

Pick the fit and who's wearing it

Think about roles before sizes. Front-of-house and office staff usually want a cleaner silhouette in a dress shirt, and most of our woven styles come in both men's and women's cuts so the whole team looks consistent. Kitchen, service, and retail crews are often better served by aprons worn over a branded tee or shirt, while medical, dental, and wellness offices typically standardize on scrubs. Order a size run or a couple of samples first — a uniform program lives or dies on fit, and it's easy to reorder once you've dialed it in for new hires.

Pick your print method

Screen printing is the most economical way to brand a big batch of shirts with a simple, bold logo — great for a full staff rollout. DTF (direct-to-film) handles full-color logos and detailed art with no minimum, and it's the easy call when you need individual name or title personalization on a left-chest or back placement. Hi-vis garments have reflective-tape zones you can't print over, so those need a quick look before we finalize placement.
