What are grommets on a banner, and how far apart are they?
Grommets are the metal rings along a banner's edge that you tie or hook through to hang it. Ours come standard at the corners and every 2 ft along the edges. When you design your banner you can also choose corners only, or no grommets if you're mounting it another way.
Should I choose grommets or pole pockets?
Grommets are best for tying a banner to a fence, wall or frame. Pole pockets are 3 inch sleeves along an edge that a pole or rod slides through, which gives a neater look when hanging from a pole or indoors. You can add pole pockets to any edge, and an edge with a pole pocket doesn't get grommets.
What are your vinyl banners made of?
Our banners are printed in full color on 13 oz scrim vinyl, here in our Coatesville shop, and every edge is hemmed and taped. Lamination is optional and adds UV and scuff protection. Our laminated vinyl is guaranteed to last outdoors through all weather for 7 years without cracking or fading.

How much does a custom vinyl banner cost?
Design your banner online and the price updates as you choose the size, lamination, grommets and pole pockets, so you see the exact price before you add it to your cart. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Stands, sandwich boards and banners over 10 × 50 ft are quoted.
Do I need my artwork ready to order?
No. You can upload PNG, JPG, SVG or WEBP artwork up to 50 MB while you design your banner. If your file is a PDF, AI, EPS or PSD, choose Artwork to follow and email it to us with your order number.
Are your banners waterproof and weatherproof?
Yes. Our vinyl banners are rated for outdoor use, including rain and wind, with proper mounting. For the longest life outdoors, add lamination, which is guaranteed for 7 years without cracking or fading.
What's the difference between an X-banner stand and a retractable banner stand?
X-banner stands are lightweight and budget-friendly, and the banner hangs from grommets so it swaps quickly; we offer 24 × 63, 32 × 72 and 48 × 78 in. Retractable stands have a weighted base and a pull-up mechanism that's great for frequent use and presentations, in 33 × 78 and 36 × 92 in.
